It developed because both parties refused to enforce immigration, it is pretty apparent, even the refusal to implement e-verify speaks loudly as to how seriously political leadership takes immigration. Face it, our politicians don't give a shit about what the people they rule think. Case in point, the current situation regarding O'care, for 8 years the asshole republicans in congress told us that they would repeal a bill that many American's feel is unconstitutional, one that limits our choices regarding healthcare and requires citizens to purchase a product that we don't want, yet given the power to do so they stick their middle fingers in our faces.....

There will be no immigration reform, there will be no wall or enduring enforcement, no e-verify, however there will be DACA and there will be another middle finger.
