Do you really think he will knock it off on your say so? I sure would not.

All he did was pose a respectful question. This whole thread has been blown out of shape for one question.

I wear a police uniform when I am taking pictures in questionable locations. Better safe than sorry.

You might try a security officer uniform, but to impersonate a cop is illegal. I don't think I would admit that I do that in any form that could be presented in court as evidence.

But a security cop is not necessarily a sworn police officer...

No different than spelling or grammar mistakes being overlooked. Why don't you capitalize the first letter in your sentence?
Time to move on.

I'm a criminal defense lawyer and I've heard a lot of innovative defenses, but this is the winner.

You may have heard of this one
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/16/us/oxford-comma-lawsuit.html

around $10 million of overtime payments rested on the ambiguity in the law due to not using a comma.

The truck drivers won their overtime payment.

I won a case myself where the regulation essentially stated

a and b or c or d.
it was being used as a or b or c or d.

a was true but since b, c, and d were false. Then it wasn't applicable.

They were quite sneaky about it as they quoted the regulation only as far as 'a' leaving out the 3 other clauses which were the exceptions. luckily enough i researched the statute that was being applied, saw the full text, Appealed and won. :) I am not a lawyer but i know logic.
