So, I went to the recent NASCAR race here at Richmond International Raceway in Richmond, VA. I always look for and watch the professional photographers, and as usual, I noticed the ones representing the major racing publications, etc. But there was one group that stood out, and it was a LOT of them. All were wearing light blue vests with Kodak on the back with an ID number of some sort. And noticeable to me was the variety of equipment. I saw them using Nikons, Canons, I think some other brands, the guy in the first photo below was using the on-camera flash, which I guess is OK but just seemed awkward to me to see a credentialed photographer shooting that way.
Any guesses on who these guys might be shooting for? And why a Kodak vest? I should have asked, and didn't, wish I had now. Because I want a Kodak vest to get in and shoot!

The Kodak vests are probably an advertisement for Kodak. Maybe there freelancers, so they use the free vests.
I like the one guy shooting with the cellphone. Trying to lose weight?
Look at the lens hood on that lens, and you can see how it can protect the lens. Of course, maybe the hood got damaged because it's so big.
why do some people find it necessary to put "So" at the beginning of their sentences?? Do you know that you could leave it out and it would never be missed??

Which of the three lens hoods that are visible in the two shots do you think are broken?
All three of the hoods that I see are what I've heard referred to as tulip style hoods, they're designed that way.
Not all lens hoods are shaped like a tin can with straight even edges.

SO why does the word police has to start their correcting on such small stuff. It like having a conversation and the other person keeps saying "I hear ya". So just give as a break.
"So" what. "So", is part of storytelling.
The point is to look as tho you are an official. The camera club provided "Press ID" and "membership ID".... good bluff. I carry a card I made up with DOJ letter warning police that essentially, "photography is not illegal." Bluff is helped with stage props.
Go to Ebay and search Kodak T Shirts.... add a lanyard with a leather ID folder and who is to stop you?? Without those, yesterday my SuperZoom and I took some Halloween display photos at Lowes and one employee asked me if he could move any thing to help make the photos better.

SO is used as a continuation of the story.... So, the wolf huffed and puffed.... SO explains why, "because of prior events the wolf..." vs the word "next" that is just a chronological listing.

Viewed in Download, you can see the scratches on the hood - probably more on the other side.

I wear a police uniform when I am taking pictures in questionable locations. Better safe than sorry.

Sew, does your uniform look authentic?

Does the phrase" impersonating a police officer" ring a bell? 😳😱

Does that include vest, handgun, taser, cuffs, radio, body cam, etc.? Just kidding... But, that would complete the outfit!😬

Jerry, if you went nude, no one would notice your camera!!
Humm.. police uniform ... arrested for impersonating an officer!! well the defense is that police wear uniforms and impersonating you wearing a police uniform. If in SW USA the uniform should say that you are Mexican Police... Heck Jerry, Halloween is coming up and you can get a Trump Wig and pretend to be Prez... get a few Mafia Buddies and rule the world. or is it rude not rule? !! In his book, "The Art of The Bluff" he discusses Wigs.

So why do people put two question marks at the end of their sentences when one will do it?
So why do people start one sentence without using a capital letter and the other sentence with a capital letter?

Implies more emphasis with more than one!!
Have no idea in the second...
