No pix to post of the 'seriously injured, stumbling off in different directions' aftermath?

I'll check with Plessner, she was there too. When they broke up, we were all saying "what just happened?" Moments later someone noticed the top storm stumble and fall in the water. The bottom bird limped off with an injured wing.

Don't want to bud in on your thread Greg--but beings you asked--I think that by the time the one had maybe passed out and fell into the water we had all put our cameras down. The first one here they were heading towards the water, and the second as they were in it, but hadn't fallen, and the last is the one with the injured wing hanging down some

While on the Chobe river between Namibia and Botswana we witnessed an extremely rare event: two Yellow-billed storks who at first appeared to be dancing a courtship tango. But all of a sudden things changed. (BTW, I give credit to my D500 which was in full 10fps mode and kept perfect focus.)

Great set and fine shooting.

LOL I did remind myself something a friend said to me who had been to Africa before--she said "sometimes just put the camera down and enjoy the moment" and I did remember to do that occasionally!

Nice capture! The Sandhill cranes do the funky chicken around here much like that. Sorta look like my dance moves. I mostly make them up as I go. Thanx for posting.
