I ban the rude ones... for awhile I would un-ban everyone whenever I posted a thread... but the usual suspects seem to follow me around crapping up threads...so now I just leave them on ignore.

eyesore has banned me twice... maybe I crap up his threads.

I've never banned anyone but it wouldn't take too many unpleasant PMs (I don't mean ones that disagree with me but do it politely) for me to change that.

Ignore button is a snowflake relief mechanism. I generally use a more graphic term for folks that use it, but snowflake works.

Must admit, I get a chuckle out of people talking about keeping "their threads" clean. One can start a thread, but I don't think any rights of ownership are vested...

I have never used the block filter on this site. There are some who are rude and some with whom I disagree, However, there are things to be learned from both those groups. I think it would be quite boring to spend my entire time with people who thought exactly like I do. If I am going to block someone, it's a simple matter of not reading what they post.

Besides that there is a "Unwatch" button on the upper left at the top of every post! I use that a lot. Kinda like the....on your TV hey, that looks like the AntiFa flag, kinda. Or, the new international symbol for the finger.

That's one of the differences between you and I. You want to ban them and I would choose to ignore them, which I do when I'm fed up as they can with me.
