Probably because there are no newer updates, than what you already have installed.

Keyboard shortcuts are the bomb...I process so many shots at a sitting that I've graduated to using a gaming mouse, with essential functions plugged into the different buttons (like fwd, back, crop, enter, export window) but before that it was all keyboard shortcuts...learn 'em now and you'll be a wizard in no time, at least from the speed standpoint! I do all my work in the Develop module, only going to Library to set up collections and collection sets (and, of course, to import).
