Having just turned 62 last year I bought mine this summer. In fact, I actually bought two of them!
If you ever lose one they are NOT replaceable, you will have to buy another at whatever the retail price is at that time. I figured another $10 was pretty cheap insurance!

Same here! Wife looks at it as a keepsake besides.
Have one in the car, another in my wallet.

5 times thru Ding Darling in Fla, 2 times on the blue ridge parkway, 6 or more visits to a nature preserve in NJ, 3 visits to a park in Delaware, 1 visit to a park in Md, I'd say I got a lot more than my moneys worth. I'm thinking of buying a second one and putting it someplace safe. Just in case I happen to lose mine.

I love your 'Equipment List'. My wife and I got a kick out of that because I once had an obsession with collecting binoculars and she rolled her eyes at me over that.
I'm now down to about a dozen pair or so. (I think

*Just a note, if your wife needs assistance perfecting her eye-roll, please have her contact mine. Please reference the last line in my posts below my avatar and right of my equipment explanation.

That's what I was trying to refer to all along. It just took me (now 4) posts to do so.
But really, I (and probably you) are blessed to have a wonderful and understanding wife.

Mine is a little slow. It took her 46 years to get me on a better path. Her biggest goof up was talking me into photography five years ago...
That is quite a hike in price $10 to $80!!

Thanks for the reminder. I'll probably get over there on August 29.
I plan on getting my National Parks pass, but by the luck or bad luck of my birthday, I'll end up having to pay the higher price at the end of the year.
