Street Photography can be in color & it can be with or without people. These shots are the Wynwood Walls in Miami.
Can you tell us what makes those Street Photography?

Perhaps if you caught the artist in the act of painting, or a curious passer-by would work. My understanding was that Street Photography should capture people being people.
Great urban street pictures...

Pictures of urban streets! Pictures of art on urban streets.
But that would not make them Street Photography.
They have to depict "the human condition", aka life. The term Street in Street Photography is a community and not just some connection to a road.

Yes! It is possible to show the effects without actually showimg a person, but that is rare and difficult.

I didn't know there had to be people in a street shot? Did you write a manual on what is and what is not street. Lighten up, and enjoy the shots for what they are.
Larry, cool shots, I like street art. You did a nice job, thanks for sharing.

Nice photos in beautiful color. I wholeheartedly agree. I like Wikipedias' description of the the genre of Street Photography and I quote the last sentence of the first paragraph below:
"Though people usually feature directly, street photography might be absent of people and can be of an object or environment where the image projects a decidedly human character in facsimile or aesthetic"

Apaflo, a while back you posted this photo as street photography. Please explain the difference between yours and LarryN's photo.

This is from the "Hello" page of the section:
"The rules for the Street Photography Section are fairly simple. We accept almost any inclusive definition of Street Photography, and will not exclude any discussion or image if a member feels it is appropriate to Street Photography."
If the above sentence depicts the sentiment of the moderator then I took your question more as a show of interest then as a challenge.

Also Apaflo's Blow head whale etched in snow looks like graffiti...with no people and is under street photography
I have specifically said that showing a human is not necessary. But just being on a roadway does not cause an image to be Street. It must somehow show the intangible relationships between people and their surroundings. It is difficult to do with no visible human.
Note that while I do not think those particular images qualify as Street, there has been no hesitancy to allow them or to discuss them. There is a lot to be learned from examples like that. Not everyone will learn or agree, but that is okay too.
Again I'll ask, this time for all of you, what is it that makes them Street? Just being on a roadway does not! They are nice pictures of art work next to a street, that's all.
