Both are great. Toss up for me.
color for me for sure .Sorry , not a big fan of B&W photos .Tommy
I'm a big fan of black and white, but this one is a bit gray for me. I'd like some more contrast, so I'm voting for the color version.

Both are excellent but if it was my granddaughter I prefer the color shot to frame.
It is B&W for me. In this case I am going to disagree with jaymat, it is not often that I do. There is a place for high key in photography and this is one of them. A white background, soft female features and soft lighting all add up to create a great overall effect. Wayne has used two soft boxes, one top and one bottom both slightly offset to the right to give left side shadow. If he had wanted more contrast he would have used a black background, flash or spots from one side and dressed the subject in a black cloak. Okay, perhaps that is overdoing things a bit. I also like many photograph where the contrast is juggled with the black point slider in editing but this is not an example of where that should happen. There is still a place for high key in photography and in this case it has been executed really well. Having said that, the grey eyes are better in the color one. Maybe the B&W with the colored grey eyes :-)
