Great shots! I concur with the tripod/monopod opinion. I use a monopod now - lighter, and can be used as a hiking stick too.

Jan, these are beautiful images. I've only ever seen an eagle once, I think, and I certainly couldn't photograph him!

What a great series Jan, some should be on a calendar. I like overcast, no harsh shadows. Keep up the great work.

Very nice set of images. They can be very elusive and difficult to capture....as I am sure you know. Yours turned out great.
