Balmoral Castle, Scorland.
Fantastic shot, Geoff! All the atmosphere anyone could ask. Well done.
Beautiful. A really nice shot.
Beautiful photo. Kind of eerie looking, though.
A fantastic shot of a 'storybook' castle. I like the dark storm sky setting off the castle.
I love this! Love those ominous clouds, the feel of dampness and chill. The yellow/red flag is so beautiful against that gray sky. Must be a wonderful castle that just epitomizes Scotland. About that white "head" at the bottom left of center...is it a head of white hair? should it be removed? Or is it something that should be in the scene?

Cracking shot, sharpness abounds. But can I ask what you are doing to get what I can describe as a floury finish to recent images. I've noticed one or two others like it as well from other posters.

Very nicely done, thanks for sharing it.

Balmoral Castle is the summer holiday home for the Queen and Royal family. We were lucky a couple of weeks ago, we got in just 2 days before it closed for the Queens arrival last week.
Love your beautiful image! I love that wonderful castle. Even the name sounds regal.
