Wonderful photo, as usual. I also enjoyed the new chapter in the story. You have a wonderful imagination.

I would much rather see a portrait Madame P on the one dollar bill than Sour puss G,Washington. Instead the pyramid with the eye, I think a broom would be appropriate.

Thanks, Tikva. Glad you enjoyed this one. As for the imagination, honestly I can't help doing it. I look at a photo and imagine what I'm seeing in a different context. In this case, what might we do with a figure in a black and white image, where have I seen something similar? Instant connection with the engraved images on our money. So the story--as do most of them--tells itself. I just have to weave the image into my Ministry of Mayhem fantasy world and the characters there. It's all in fun, and most here enjoy the tongue-in-cheek light-hearted humor. Some members even participate in the stories, posting concurrent episodes to join in on the fun with their own characters. You are of course quite welcome to do so, should you wish. It's just another way to enjoy photography.

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, they're much appreciated!

Lol, how about crossed brooms? Excellent idea! I shall propose those changes to the Treasury Department forthwith!

Thanks, Sirius_one. I like the way you think! Glad you enjoyed this one, and thanks as always for the fun comment and visit. Always much appreciated!

Ol' Frank Loc: Orlando,

This story is really beginning to take on some very important issues it seems to me. Should the one, five, ten or twenty dollar bill carry the portrait of our most lovely Madame P.? Personally I would rather see her on the largest bill that most people would not carry since I am sure the most of us Hedgehoggers are not all that willing to share her with the mundane world. Perhaps the Ministry would consider something like this.

You raise some excellent points, and I intend to bring them up at the next staff meeting. I think it would have been resolved at the last meeting, but the Martian was miffed because his pet project (invasion of Poland) got voted down again. He left in a huff before the currency conundrum was decided.

Since the Congress/Treasury decided to NOT replace Hamilton on a US bill with a woman, this image might change their mind---Just imagine the circulation a bill with that image would receive!! Beautiful subject/ beautiful rendition!!
