Yesterday's staff meeting at the Ministry of Mayhem had its moments. Along with his usual noise about invading Poland (voted down again), the Martian mentioned he'd become bored with the engraved portrait of George Washington on the dollar bill, and suggested using this one of Madame P as a replacement.

I voted yes, but the motion was tabled for further discussion at a later date.

I don't have a vote but support Martian's motion -- with enthusiasm.
I like the b&w portrait very much.

This should definitely replace Mr Washington,in my humble opinion anyhow, she's much prettier to look at and perhaps even on our Five pound notes, that would be nice.Excellent work as always Randy.

Thanks, Pierre. I like the idea. With her image on them, I'm much more likely to hang on to my dollars instead of spending them!

Glad you enjoyed this, thanks so much for stopping by and your kind comments. Always grateful!

Thanks, Angler. I agree completely. I'd much rather carry around a wallet full of her images than those of old George (who, let's face it, would never have made it as a heartthrob or teen idol. George Clooney he's not...).

Lol!

Thanks for throwing your weight behind this one. If I can get a consensus, I'm reopening the discussion at the next staff meeting, and then we'll see what we'll see.

Thanks for the laugh and your visit, always very much appreciated!

Thanks, John, and good idea. I'll bring up the subject and see what she says. He's getting old, and she just might like a new shot of the two of them.

Thanks for the positive comment and visit, always very much appreciated!

I agree that Madame P would be a welcome replacement for ol' George however I would like to see just a hint of a smile on that beautiful face. I would really make those bills pop/

Great skin tones. I agree with those who would hold on to the bills rather than spend them. I don't carry many 1s, however; perhaps on a 10 or 20? Or on both? Or on all bills? Would never tire. Would never get spent(!). Nice job. Matt

Thank you, Matt. I always seem to have lots of ones, and too few of the larger denominations. Hard to hang onto those big bills. To paraphrase the great Yogi Berra--'A dollar ain't worth a nickel anymore.'

Besides, I think the Martian has plans to put himself on the $20's, lol.

Glad you enjoyed the shot, and thanks very much for stopping by and taking time to leave a comment. It's very much appreciated!

Thanks, Bob, and that's my thought. I'm not saying old George wasn't a player (he did, after all, grow hemp), but let's be truthful--he's not even in the top ten best-looking Presidents. C'mon--wooden teeth? I think we can do a little better on the dollar bill, don't you?

; )

Thanks for the positive comment and visit, always much appreciated!
