In this same vein, the San Antonio, Texas, area has several restored Spanish mission complexes that are worth a photo shoot. One suggestion though, if you attend a "mariachi mass", you might wish to bring earplugs.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will keep that in mind. Perhaps luckily, I am pretty severely hearing impaired, so the loudness should not be a problem.

Nice photos, Bruce. The last time I was there, there were scaffolds everywhere.

Thank you. Yes, it took what seemed like forever for them to finish the outside. They are working on the inside and I am processing pix from the inside currently. Hopefully, they will be good enough to post.
