I'm *not* new to photography - or UHH - and have found your "Secrets" (the one that is the *topic* of this thread... ) a good resource. Informative, well written, and refreshingly humorous. Thanks for writing it, and making it available at a well-worth-it reasonable price. Has helped me continue to advance my use of my D7200.

Welcome to UHH. Steve's book is good. It's taught me (started taking images in the '60s with a NikonF) some things about my Nikon DSLR.

I think it must be one of the more recent changes. See third post in by the OP. I think you have to do it within a short time frame.

Yes, I see and wrongly interpreted it to mean before hitting send. Well, if we get smarter every day, there still not days enough left to straighten me out!

May I respectfully ask: What is the "THIS" that you recently bought?

By the way, what's the point of telling everybody you like something if they don't know
what you are talking about, Rose?

look at the title of this post....

I am old school and would love to have this book in print. For me to print it on my home printer it would cost me a fortune in ink. I will get the "E" version, just thought I would ask. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience.

Can anybody provide a comparison to Mike Hagen's book "The Nikon Autofocus System: Mastering Focus for Sharp Images Every Time 2nd Edition"? Things like target audience, topics covered, non-autofocus topics covered, cameras covered, clarity of examples, etc.

If you have been on this forum, there are some names that are easily recognizable. Steve Perry is one of them. He has great knowledge as a photographer. I've seen some of his videos. And I hope to read many of his topics on photography. He even defended the D7500. After checking the specs, it isn't as bad as was first presented.

Thanks for your interest :) Right now, it's only available electronically. I've looked into getting it printed, but it' just too costly - the book has lots of photos, charts, illustrations etc and at 460 pages, it gets very pricy very quickly (cost to you would be over $60). So, far now at least, it's e-book only.

Obviously I'm biased, but if it helps check out the info page on my site. It goes over everything that's covered in pretty good detail:

Why is that Dave this is a very good ebook Steve did a lot of research and presents it thoroughly, and it has everything to do with photography.
