Hello all,
I have never used an adapter and would appreciate your knowledge. I have a Sony a6000 and a Lumix G8. I want to buy an adapter for these lenses - yes, I will have to buy two for my Fugi X-T2. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Most adapters require you use whatever lens you attach to use it in Manual Mode for exposure and Focus. Just call B&H Camera and they can square you away with what is available for the lenses you have.

Dparker - The name of your camera is printed right there on the box. F - U - J - I - F - I - L - M . When abbreviated, the most common usage is "Fuji". Gee, I guess it has no "G" in it. /Ralph

My standard filter size is 58mm and I adapt to that. If I have a large 67 lens then perhaps one filter.

You do not need expensive adapters. I prefer plastic. Why? Because metal to metal is more likely to get stuck. The plastic adapters if stuck are expendable... not the camera ... not the filter. Plastics are in a sense self lubricating.

repleo is right. Unfortunately you have followed the UHH rule ... give no information and ask a vague question.... this way people amble on for 8 pages, vs , well defined question is perhaps answered well in one page.

While you failed to give needed tech info, the misspelling of Fugi vs Fuji... well, you communicated the camera name well enough we knew what you meant. One UHH person discarded my comment in the Attic by pointing out that I was an educator [ya, 3 years started at 70 ended at 73 special ed, that after 40+ in R&D and Tech Consulting] and the spelling is HEY, not HAY... well, I grew up in the country, saw lots of Hay, and never saw Hey!! The spelling had nothing to do with my point, same applies to your Fudgeye camera.

I understood the question to be about an adapter so the OP can use other lenses on his camera--not a step-up or step-down filter ring. He/she is likely asking about something akin to the Metabones....

Why do you keep buying cameras of different manufacturers. There are adapters available, but you will have to shoot everything manual.

What lenses are you referring to.. SONY or PANASONIC, or both to both...the Sony is e-mount full frame, the lumix is aps-c; so you can adapt sony to panasonic, but I don't think you can adapt the panasonic to the Sony(aps-c to full frame does not work

Go to the Fotodiox site. You will find an adaptor for nearly any lens ever made to an e-mount or m4/3 camera

Go to ebay and search for what you're looking - say stuff like "Lumix G8 lens to Sony a6000 adapter." If it exists you'll find it. I just did that search and didn't see anything come up. Such an adapter may not exist. Most all manufacturers of adapters put their stuff on ebay. Fotodiox certainly does. I went to Fotodiox.com and searched and it "didn't yield any results." You may be out of luck on that one. Good luck with the rest of what you're hunting.

I have an adaptor for my Sony a6000 that handles my Takamar (Pentax ) lenses just fine. Cost $20.00
Brand is Fotodiox and here is the exact link.

There are many for almost all vintage lenses. Don't forget to buy a spare lens cap so you can keep the insides clean when you don't have it attached to the camera.

I use a Fotodiox adapter for my Nikon lenses on my two Sonys. It works great for $45. I also have an LA-EA3 that I use with an A-mount macro lens. That lets me do automatic stuff--though on a macro that's not as important.
