60 mm * 1.5 = 90mm Very simple> A 60mm lens on APC is equivalent to a 90mm lens on full frame camera. 90mm is indeed a great portrait lens.

All you can do is ignore them. They think they are pros and if you see some of their photos they are real crap and don't even know how to PP them. Just pay attention to the ones that really want to help and there are quite a few on this site....Rich

Rich, Appreciate your comment. It doesn't bother me what others on the site have said. I've got a very thick skin. I would have thought there would be some smart people who would have understood what I was saying, and not respond with snide remarks.
In any event the Tamron 60 mm f/2 macro is a very nice portrait lens.
