Last week received a used Tamron 60 MM f/2 SP DI !! Macro lens from KEH. The lens looks brand new, not a mark on it
A great portrait lens for APS-C cameras. About 90 MM on FF cameras. First couple of test shots are razor sharp,A great buy
for anyone looking for a portrait lens.

I believe it is what the FOV would be on a FF camera.

It couldn't. He's got it reversed.

The 60mm lens on a FF camera, could produce coverage on an APS crop camera about 90mm. That would be useful as a portrait lens on the crop camera, NOT a FF camera. You are flying in the face of physics!!!

I do believe the OP is indicating it is the equivalent of a 90 on a FF, especially since he said a good portrait lens on an aps-c.

But let's dump on him for 20 or so pages. :)

Enjoy your lens Captain.

Don't see the word "equivalent" in his post. Words mean things.

True, but when read in context the meaning should be clear to anyone familiar with the subject. That is if they read and understood all the words.

You can't understand words that aren't there. Making assumptions about the meaning of poorly worded statements leads to massive mis-communication.

You have it backwards! Its 60mm on a FF, but will give you the field of view of a 90mm on a APS-C body!

Not a question of that but disasters like head on train crashes have happened because of mis-communication.
