I really love the second one.

Isn't that one fun? It came as a surprise to me; I had trouble with DOF as all the swirls are on multiple planes, so I scanned in on the scanner with the scanner lid open to get the black. I think the metalic look was from some reflexions it was picking up from the room. I hope the explanation doesn't ruin it for you, but I am SO glad you enjoyed. Thank you for looking!

These are so creative and certainly look like fireworks. I love your vision and execution. This kind of effort is truly inspiring and fosters ideas of things to explore with this medium. Thanks for sharing Carla.

Thank you so much for finding this and letting me know, Chuy. Sorry I just caught your response. I've been a bit under the weather (crumby time of year to be ill and miss so much of the fun, food, excitement). I am so glad you enjoyed these and I always appreciate the thumbs-up--so encouraging! Happy New Year to you, yours and your cute little ducky visitors!

So sorry to hear you've been sick Carlysue, and especially around the holidays. Thought your photos were very well done, I gauge the success of a photo by, if you are compelled to take a second and third look, yours certainly fit that rule of thumb. May your New year be full of joy and good health. Thanks for your well wishes Carlysue. PS The critters are doing just fine as they are all safe and warm inside.

Hi, Carlysue, We are not getting the snow in my area but we are getting very cold temps. The temperature is at seven degrees right now and falling, I suppose that's why I have three ducks and three cats here at my feet, they all look pretty grateful to me. LOL These ducks haven't the ability to head south due to wing problems. I really don't think they mind, do to the fact it's 79 degrees in here and the food never runs out. Each bird has their own kennel and when their out time is over they automatically go to their own. Hope you are feeling better.
