Although my Black Eyed Susan's have finally started blooming, I found these growing alongside a little road adjacent to a cemetery.

Super detailed and so very pretty. I love being able to see the grains of pollen and the tiny hairs on the stems. Very well done.

Carol, thank you for your comments. After spending two + days (off & on) trying to get a pleasing picture, I decided to post this one. The detail is coming out OK, but I'm not all that happy with the arrangement. After analyzing what I don't like about the arrangements, I will probably try some other thing tomorrow.
I'm actually having a lot fun, but like you, I'm always trying to get better.

Hi Ted68survivor,
I totally agree, Black Eyed Susan's are defiantly one my favorites. I gravitate to the simple flowers for photographic subjects. The pic I posted is probably still a work in progress. I actually think the arrangement can be more pleasing.

Hi Tom,
I am so glad you like the Black Eye Susan's. They are one of my favorites. Sharpness is getting better, but I believe composition could still use some improvement.
