Wow, such debating, a buyer should go to a store and look, feel, and if possible shoot with some of the above mentioned Cameras, it all comes down to a personal decision. I have as a DSLR beginner, the Nikon D3300, and 4 Lens, 35mm 1.8g, 50mm 1.8g, 18-55 kit, 55-200, much to learn and experience, and it will be a while before I will upgrade. Hope you find the Camera you feel comfortable with and Enjoy!
Alas fussing with a camera for a few minutes in the store won't tell ypu much about using it in the field. The button control system of the D7xxx might seem fine in a well lighted store where you can find the button and perhaps keep your glasses on to read the little green screen with no time pressure to make the shot. Plus twice the weight may not impact you as much as lugging the thing a few miles. And you are unlikely to try compositions where the articulated screen is so useful such as high or low perspectives or group selfies on a tripod.
