ok, just to be clear, you are giving it plenty of time to upload before trying again? I'm on a really slow connection and it often takes me several minutes (3 - 5) to upload one pic.

By the time I take my pics down to the 600x800 that the board likes I end up with KB pics not MB. That is why it takes longer. Again though I do it one to help protect my pics and two it makes it load fast on my interent connection. I have to watch too because if I leave it trying to load too long I get and error on the page and then I have to start all over again.

Yep. I actually wait until I get an error message saying it failed (not sure the actual word but I will check next time)

Yeah I guess I could do that but I have seen members with files greater than 10 megs here. I guess just for display it would be OK though.
tried different browsers?
What are you using at home, a Mac or PC?
If PC, what operating system, XP, Vista, Win 7?
PC with W7 SP1. Using FireFox 13.0.1
have you tried using Internet Explorer?
Testing with IE

Well crud....it was that simple. And I hate IE. I guess I'll have to make it my friend on this forum. This is nearly a 5.42 meg file. Took very little time to load as compare to before when it was constantly failing.
Thanks for staying with me on this wrr.
Cheers
well good deal, I'm with you about IE but sometimes the fix is as easy as a change. But that said, FF 'should' do the job. I'd make sure it is up to date. If it is, disable all add-ons and try. If it works, enable add-ons one by one to find the problem. If add-ons are not the problem, I'd uninstall FF then reinstall from a fresh download and try. Anyways, really glad you've been set free, now we can see all those great pictures you have to share!

btw: very cool picture there!

I'll be testing my addons and see what gives. I have the newest of FF (v13.0.1) bur you are right about addons that may be acting up.
Cheers
