Trouble uploading pictures

I have tried many time to upload pictures but it just won't work. I have successfully uploaded only one photo.
Every time I try, it fails to load. I can try 20 or 30 times and it won't work. The one time it did work, I had tried about 30 or so times and finally one upped. Picture was only about 2 meg. I have seen pictures much larger than that uploaded.
Anything I might be doing wrong?

Are you previewing the picture before you "upload" it? If so, don't preview it before uploading.

No, I read that somewhere to "not" preview the picture before uploading it. But that's not it. I don't preview.

Never had a problem else where but I will give it a go again to another forum see if that works.

The board automatically resizes every picture to 800x600 pixels unless you store the original. If you are uploading a really big picture in comparison to the 800x600 it can take a long time for the board to resize it causing it to fail. With my interent connection I have a very hard time getting my originals which are about 4000x3000 pixels to load on here. Many of the photos I show here I also show on facebook and I resize mine to go on there anyway so I usually resize them to the board max of 800x600. They upload very fast that way with my interent connection.

Wow!!! worked first try from my work computer which is much slower than my home computer and a on a national network at that.

Have you tried this same picture from the home computer? And what kind of internet connection is the home computer using?

That's also a really small picture to upload. I would think that would go through on your home computer. If it didn't then I would say that you have some kind of blockade that was preventing them from posting from your home computer.

Ok so this loaded from home also but it is very small as you said. I'll try a larger one.

OK for this one I had to retry 3 times. It is only 1.2 meg. Anything larger and I have to try 20 or 30 times.
