What a great testimony! Beautiful
The Missouri State Capitol. It's in Jefferson City, Mo.
This is the abandoned ghost town of Keota that sits out on the north east Colorado plains and is miles away from anywhere.
This photo is my son standing on a wall of what used to be the old Keota school.
That confederate flag is awful. Shame on you for posting it.
This place is Natashquan, Quebec, Canada. Until recently there were no roads to get there and all was/still is, delivered by ships and when the gulf iced up they had no fruit or vegetables until the spring melt. Historically a famous singer, Gilles Vigneault, came from there and through his songs he woke up the rest of the Province and folks flock there now. The big joke was that one time 4 tourists visited and following year there were 8 tourists and the locals were afraid as each year they were doubling. They probably ate more smelt and codfish than any other village in eastern Canada.
Me, in the white shirt, at the top of the Missouri State Capitol.

My mother's family came from a town in West Texas that was physically moved leaving only the graveyard which is now in someone's fields.

The long gone history of the St. Lawrence River...these boats are called''goelettes'' and no long exist. There were no roads along the coast and they were theonly means of transportation. When I kenw then they were mostly haulong wood to the pulp mill in Québec City. They are huge in our history around here...
We have a couple of canal boats from the 1850s era that still provide a nice ride.
