Go do your own work! It's easy. Just try it, instead of sitting around moaning about how someone else won't do it for you. Maybe you are a spoiled-rotten baby?

You seldom go higher than 400 ISO with your current camera. Have you investigated what newer cameras are able to do?? Last spring I noticed shots posted on-line in which the professional had gone to a much higher ISO http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-380030-1.html

In the past year, both Nikon and Pentax have released cameras which seem, based on published images, to allow much higher ISO settings gracefully. The Nikon D500 appears to be a leading camera in that trend, and the D7500 may, like the Pentax K-70, be an attempt to bring that capability down to us mere mortals. If that works out, then I salute them!

Yes I know ,there pretty good up to a point . But the very top of the iso ,not so good . One thing good about them is you don't have to shell
Out the big bucks for faster lenses, but I don't need that fast of iso, as I don't hunt at knight , if I do I pit lamp

When the A9s overheating came up in this thread I did about a half hour Bing search on the topic. I found many instances of the warning icon coming on and two reports of the bodies that stopped working. Those two incidents were related to sunny outdoor use in warm weather. Conditions similar to outdoor sporting events. Check it out on Bing.

I think you're right that the bodies are too small to dissipate the internally generated heat. It is funny that a body designed for sports photography doesn't like to be out in the sun. That's the kind of mistake you DON'T see from Canon or Nikon.

ok found this one where it shutdown

https://www.luca15.com/watch/elZ_GSotP30/sony-a9-overheating-update-shooting-soccer-movie

starts getting interesting at around 5 minutes in the video

This might be relevant too

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_ZND95ee-w banding and overheating

Sony has put out a firmware update which has solved the 'overheating warning'
https://www.dpreview.com/news/4228347869/new-sony-alpha-a9-firmware-fixes-overheating-warning

It sure would have been easier if you cited your sources. It could have been a Tony Northrup video

<speculation>Maybe Sony set the warning when the camera would be operating out of its designed working conditions. Thermal noise can be a problem for any camera sensor. So perhaps images from the A9 begin to be degraded at this warning point. </speculation>

So shutdown is rare but it happens and by the search results it's not a first for Sony.

I see Nikon, with the D7500, and Pentax, with the K-70, as heading in the same direction - add an inexpensive variable-aperture something-300mm zoom lens to have a camera that would fit in the budget of parent/grand-parent who wants to photograph child playing indoor sports and get reasonable JPG SOOC.
