After going there for the last 50 years I am sure this was my last trip, at 87 there are not many next years left, actually my grandson was suppose to drive me but he got called away on a job so I drove by myself just as I did on most visits before.

Magnificent photos! I love the low clouds (fog remnants) in some of the photos, and there's very little haze, nice. Yosemite is our favorite NP.
I am surprised it's so crowded in mid-May, as that is the time we usually like to go because it isn't as crowded. Doesn't bode well for our next trip

Mike, your skills and vision certainly has not diminished with time! These are as remarkable and excellent as those you've taken over the past 5 or 6 decades. And kudos to you to make the trip alone. Driving and drivers have certainly NOT become easier! All perfectly composed and shows a part of the beauty of this country.

Well deserved kudos for a series of excellent shots. These well composed shots seem to represent a lot of patience, luck [beautiful background clouds] and great use of light. All are an inspiration, despite the crowds. Thanks for sharing.

Superb ! I would love to be able to afford a trip to the USA , so many wonderful places to visit .
