Yosemite last week.
Mike, beautiful shots of one of my favorites National Parks, as always. Glad you were able to go and shoot, even if by yourself. All this backwards shooters, and I'm going to use that term for sure, don't know what they are missing out on. Wishing you continued good health. FYI - I grew up in San Bruno, a Capuchino grad, lived on Hensley across El Camino from library. Looking forward to seeing many more of your images in the coming years.
Breathtaking shots, Mike! The colors are glorious!

Had a few beautiful days in Yosemite, nice weather, a bid crowded already, lots of backwards photographers taking selfies facing the wrong direction, lol. After going there for the last 50 years I am sure this was my last trip, at 87 there are not many next years left, actually my grandson was suppose to drive me but he got called away on a job so I drove by myself just as I did on most visits before.
i am impressed that you just hopped, well maybe you didn't hop exactly, in the car and drove yourself since your grandson
couldn't take you. heck...you're still a young one compared to some! the shots are of course beautiful and i hope you didn't
get too pooped doing all that shootin and driving mike. i got a chuckle from the selfie comments...lol!
Thank you so much Sylvia, I guess they think that we are old fashioned with the big cameras.

This is a beautiful set Mike, so glad to know you were able to get there while the waters were running high. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about solo driving trips. I have always valued my solo driving/photo trips and I also recognize increasing limit in range and opportunities for those wonderful times. Thank you for this excellent post. Be well neighbor.

Thank you so much my friend. The worst driving was to get out of the bay area, through Livermore was a nightmare, so I didn't go on the normal Yosemite route, I took I 5 to Gustine and crossed over to Merced, a beautiful drive through the orchards.
Great to hear from an ex San Brunon. Our Daughter and all three Grandchildren went to Capuchino, you didn't live far from us, we moved from the city in 61 and bought a house on lower Crestmoor Drive where we still live. It sure grew a lot since, I used to take my dog for a walk around the sand dunes where today the YouTube headquarters stands.

Thank you very much Annie, As I drove in there was heavy fog and I was worried, but it cleared up nicely with some patches still hanging around which made it more interesting.

Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed these, I must say I slept great the first night as I was tired, didn't even go out for a bite to eat.

Thank you very much Jack.
It's beautiful this year but also it's getting very crowded, I am glad I have a handicap sticker otherwise to find parking in mid day was terrible.

These are awesome, Mike! Beautiful spring greens to offset the waterfalls and mountains!
You may be getting older, Mike, but you haven't lost your magic touch in getting outstanding photos! These are all very beautiful.
