Is a Patriot just a state of being or just an appearance?
If I have 10 American Flags flying in front of my house, does that make me a patriot?
If I Play for a professional football team in Boston, does THAT make me a Patriot?
If I voted for trump, does that make me a patriot?
If I am SWORN to defend the Constitution of my State and of the United States of America against all enemies both foreign and domestic, am I a Patriot?
What exactly IS a PATRIOT and who IS one. How does one become one...., is it for life???

I should imagine that there are 'grades' of Patriot, such as third, second, first class, and chief, copying naval ranks.
The more you do the higher the grade. Toting a flag or wearing a button might be third class patriot. Charging up a hill under fire gets you chief patriot.

Whatever a patriot may be, it certainly is NOT one who voluntarily helped corporations make money by invading a weaker country that never threatened or attacked our country, and then screams at anyone who "didn't serve" that their mindless gullibility using themselves as cannon fodder to make war mongers richer "is why you are free today".
It has been known for so long how the military is used for corporate, not the people's, interests that you would have to have been a complete idiot to volunteer for any conflict since WWII.

Are you insinuating that to be a patriot one has have to have gone to war?
That would certainly make you military veteran but in my book certainly does NOT automatically make you a patriot.
If that where the case, the least likely to EVER be a Patriot is Trump himself!!!
