Some barns from Missouri. One of my favorite subjects.

Here are a couple of barns I've found. I travel backroads as often as possible and find numerous great unexpected photo ops waiting there. Those are serendipitous moments.
Walt
Like both of them Walt, but really like #2.

I have about a hundred; how many would you like to see?

Here are a few barns from west of Chicago.
[quote=roxiemarty]Really like everyone's barn photos so far. I will be back later with some of mine; I travel the back roads of Indiana a couple of times a year photographing barns as I'm afraid one day soon, they will all be gone! There are several people on this site that do alot of barns. Thanks for posting this challenge.[/quot

This first set is the barn of a lifelong family friend's father. I am posting these because I wanted to show the difference now that this one is being saved. It is being restored, and has a lot of wonderful memories for us. Sadly, the owner of this barn passed away, but my friend is helping to restore the barn.

Here are a couple of round barns that are in great shape. The red one is in Amish Indiana. There were quite a few round barns around Indiana when I was a girl. Sadly, they are all hotels, interstates, and shopping strips now.
