I was so impressed by Donna and Angela's images using a lightbox that I continued to research it a bit and my husband, who is always in need of a project, agreed to build me one. Quite simple, really, and I am having so much fun. These are my first attempts, and I have a ways to go to get it "right". Thank you,Donna (Dixiegirl) for your patience on the phone--over an hour!

Well done! You can do so many things with them. You should try using black fabric next, just to see what look it gives you. I bet it would make your leaves stand out. I have a lightbox, I use to take product photos, for a local business. They are fun to work with. When I have the time, I like to play around with it, and photograph different things. Have fun with it. Looks like you are doing great!

Nice. Real nice. When I figure out where I am going to be next and, one hopes for the long-term, may have to look into one of those. Beautiful work. If that ain't getting it right I am very eager to see what is!

Carly Sue, between your ability with the camera and your husband's ability with tools, you achieved a fantastic series of photos. I believe you are either very close to your goal or have reached it.

I appreciate you looking in and commenting, tresap. Are you using the black fabric with the lightbox? I'm totally open for ideas and suggestions and I am having fun. Helps that all of a sudden our flower gardens are blooming! Thank you so much.

Thank you,Anger. I always appreciate you looking in and commenting. AND it was a lot of work for me! I truly buggered up several images but I do learn from my multiple mistakes, trials, and errors!

Thank you for those thumbs-up, Leicaflex. I appreciate it that you took your time to look and respond. You live in a beautiful country and I'm thinking you use a Leica camera which has always been a top of the line in it's glass. I'd love to see some of your work. Let me know when you post, OK?
