Aaawww...you are such a kind person.....I don't why cats have it so tough, but they are great survivors. We rescued five ferals over last 25 years. Tamed them, fixed them, enjoyed them. The last is still with me at 16 years of age! They add a lot of love to our lives!

My wife and I have adopted a lot of cats. They just show up. We feed them and socialize them, make sure they are neutered and find homes for them. We also keep many of them. The love they give us is all worth it!!!

May God Bless you.. They are indeed worth the love they give to us in return. If they could only talk to us we would learn so much more about them.

about 3 weeks back just before the major snow storm hit, someone dumped a gray kitty off.
It took a few days before i was able to grab her-him and bring it in the house. Once picked up- i discovered it as not a "Him" but a her and very PG.

Carried her into my office where i had it prep'd for her to stay. On the 9th, she delivered 5 solid gray kits the same color as she is.
They are growing like weeds- eyes are open and the bigger one is already playing with mom.
Here are just a few pictures i snapped of them.

The color looks more brown than gray, to me. They look a lot like our Burmese. If they are Burmese, rest assured that as the mom outgrows the trauma she had as being a stray cat, she will become amazingly affectionate and loving. They are a wonderful breed.

Colo 43 - Bless you, ma'am. Your extremely charitable act is an example of why I've dubbed all good ladies "Miracle Ladies. Without your kind, not only the cats, but none of us would be here.

Shes as gray as gray can be- it was the camera settings that threw off the color. I thought perhaps she could have some Russian Blue in her, but thats just a guess.

I've had lots of cats and couldn't part w/ any of them. Currently I have 4. Its wonderful that you not only brought her indoors and made 'accommodations' for delivery, but you intend to do the right things, take her to the vet and make her then, and indoor kitty. She will warm up more....and you'll have a fine 'family'.....make sure at some point to you a 'family portrait'!

I think it makes it easier for these people to dump when we live in the country. No one around to catch them doing it.
I just lost 2 pets with in the last 2 months. babe' at 19 years ( stroke)
and tessie at about 9 years old- kidney and heart disease. Both hard losses.
Give ole Ted a hug from me..

It never gets any easier Marilyn no matter how many cats you have, when you lose one they leave such a big hole in your heart. So sorry to hear of you losing two.
Ted has many problems a benign tumour in his head, kidney failure.. He was at the vet last week and blood tests show his white blood cell count is not right. He is not in any pain, but I don't think we will have him long. He is 16+years, dread the thought of losing him. Will give him a big hug from you.

Your right Syl,
- it does not get any easier.
I'd rather be sick instead of them, they can't tell us what they are feeling. I have a maine coon whom i have to find a way to get into the cage to get him up to the vet- another one they dropped off . I have no background on him at all to be able to help the vet out . hes got a cyst that needs to be looked at and he needs to be clipped so badly. such a good kitty but yet still feral from being torn from his original home, where ever that may have been. Hes been with me a while and trusts me,but heaven help it if a stranger comes around- hes gone. Please keep me posted on Ted and i will keep him in my prayers.
