It is said the Pouncy Brothers have paid his legal expenses so I would not be surprised if more old Gators contribute.

Aaron Hernandez had signed a 40 million dollar contract before his arrest. I'm sure there must have been a clause in it, that the owner could nullify it under certain conditions. CNN News will bring back a TV documentary report, on the Hernandez Court Case, in the coming days. Unfortunately, he had a criminal mind. And he thought he was untouchable.

On the eve of the New England Patriots visit to the White House, star player Aaron Hernandez has committed suicide in prison. His murder case was not as sensational as O.J. Simpson's, but made its place in the new media. He had everything to gain. He gained fame and fortune in his youth. He chose an alternate path. Which ruined his life.

I say, isn't it nice when a convicted killer decides to save the tax payers money?

Indeed ! The cost of keeping an inmate is around $50,000 a year, so Aaron saved the taxpayers over $2 million.

Defiantly a sad waste of a life but he was a classic bully and that's where they usually end up.

Did you mean defiantly or did you mean definitely? I agree with you if definitely.

This is a lot more common (not always to this degree) in athletes and the reason is that all their lives they are put on a pedestal and treated as they are better than everyone else. Their ego goes through the ceiling and they start thinking they are above everything and can do whatever they want. Then when they start their criminally violent lives, dishonest and greedy organizations step up to protect them and allows them to get away with it. It starts in high school and escalates through college and into the pros. Teams and colleges buy out dishonest police and and D.A.'s offices. We see it all the time and yet society turns their backs every time and allows it to continue. As long as society allows this criminal behavior to go on, we are always going to have these stories in the news with successful athletes. Many of them are arrogant as*es and that is being kind.

A tug who made bad choices, so he played football making 40 millions, still made bad choices how can you feel sorry for him. Same for Bill ORielly he now is in the same crowd as Bill Cosby and all the his buddies at Fox.

I think you are making accusations about O'Reilly when nothing is known, that I know of, about what he did or did not do. Cosby is pretty much known for drugging females and having sex with them without their consent. That is rape and is a felony upon conviction. O'Reilly is accused of sexual harassment which could be as little as telling a female co-worker she has a nice ass. Not acceptable in these times but still not rape either. Let's remember too that by saying Fox News you are basically encompassing all of Fox News when 99% of the workers there could be fine upstanding citizens who have never so much as forgotten to say please or thank you. I could be mistaken but I think your Liberal bias is showing.

While I don't disagree with your assessment I think it would be important to note that not all athletes are like this. Some are very generous of their time and money, gifting to the Arts, helping lower class kids, visiting kids in the hospital and so on. I think it is important to recognize that the athletes like Hernandez are probably less than 5% of the athletes.

Yes, another successful takedown of a conservative source. The liberals don't what other opinions, just look at Berkeley.
