yikes - Only you can decide if you want big zoom or better photo quality... Depends on where your going and what your doing. Of course, like always, I recommend the Sony RX100, (any version 1-4 - just depends on budget and if you want a viewfinder). The photo quality is amazing and it can pretty much take pictures in the dark, but basically no zoom. I also have a Sony HX80 that has a 30x zoom, and it takes pretty amazing pictures for the small sensor. Lumix makes one camera with a bigger sensor and 10X zoom, ZS100, but I have not tried it, but it sounds cool, you can extract stills from 4k video.
I know a lot of people here like the Sony bridge camera - it will be bigger but I bet the photo quality is amazing.
Good luck and have fun trying cameras !!

What is your budget?
Open budget. I want it to last. No Leica though!

It's called a Sony bridge camera? What are the specific numbers and letters.
Thanks!
It does look great! That zoom with f/2.8-4!!!! Crazy. Super pricey for a P&S. :-/
Personally for P&S I wouldn't want anything with more than 3x zoom.
Here's some shots I took with the Sony RX-10 iii. I'm still getting used to the camera and getting it set like I want. The set up options are plentiful but the more I learn the more I like it. It is not a P&S. It is one of the larger bridge cameras.

When you say Point and Shoot, Bebu, are you referring to a camera that will fit in your shirt pocket?
