Regis, excellent as always and I agree 100% as to being able to hear them from a mile away. Prior to getting back into photography I had very few birds on the property. Now we have at least 10 different species and then the migrating ones. Love the wake up calls in the morning. On an aside, you know I have the 1.4 TC III, going to pick up a 2.0 TC III. I really love the Canon TCs and they are wonderful on my couple of L lenses. Thank you for educating me on their use.

I had to go to a forested area to capture this joyful bird with a delightful song. This northern part of Idaho (Panhandle) is 85%
forest, so our forests are near-by. I would rate the Canon 1.4x and the 2.0x TC's extremely high. Excellent quality.

Thank you very much, Greg.

I sometimes marvel that the best singers are not quite as pretty. This one is certainly appealing if not what we might consider beautiful. I suspect its song makes up for lack of colorful feathers. Excellent capture Regis.

A great singer coming from such a little bird. I followed the singing through the brush and finally
captured it. Very fast moving, so this was a lucky shot because it disappeared a few seconds later.

Thank you very much, Vicki.

I miss your great hummingbird photos.

We've had lots of HBs, but I just haven't been getting out to get shots. Did have 4 land on my hands as I put out a freshly filled feeder a couple of weeks ago.

Wonderful shot. I know they don't stand still long so you got a great pose. The red osier dogwood really adds to the photo. Could it have been a Pacific Wren? House Wrens normally have a rather plain breast.

Thank you for your reply, Vicki. You are young and probably working full time, so you might not have the time to devote to your bird photography. Anyhow, I wish that
you may once again show off your beautiful Hummingbird photos.
