Beautiful Bob. DoF, lighting, composition etc, etc are all spot on. I am jealous.

You are very kind, and I appreciate it!

Wonderful shots Bob...if they're this good through glass, can't wait to see your fine weather shots...

The ten foot log that I have mounted horizontally above the rails of my deck has become so worn that I have finally replaced it. The recent wind and ice storm that we had took out most of the topmost limbs of a mature oak tree that stands beside the deck so I decided that we might as well try to salvage something out of the mess. Yesterday we made the change and, at least for awhile, we will have some new structures that might add a little more interest.

I shot quite a few today and got a few that I have posted in here. I used The Canon 7D Mk II along with the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS with the 1.4X extender. It has been completely cloudy all day with occasional showers so I had to use a very high ISO that resulted in grainy results. I look forward to trying this equipment set-up with better lighting conditions.

Hope you all enjoyed a fine weekend!

Bob, excellent series. I really need to practice taking photos through the window.

Greg, the only thing you really have to practice is properly cleaning the windows...inside and out! I get my best results with WINDEX (the one that is clear and has vinegar as one of the cleaning agents).
