I went to the everglades last night hoping for a shot of the Milky Way. On the way to the 'glades it rained. Not a good omen. When I got to the 'glades and the Milky Way finally rose---the clouds obscured the core and "ruined" my shot. Then the clouds covered the entire thing. DRAT! Since sunrise was only an hour away, and I was already there I figured I'd just wait and shoot sunrise. After all, I had clouds. When sunrise finally came---no clouds, so I had to settle for what was there--a near cloudless sky. DOUBLE DRAT!! Nothing left to do but walk back through the woods to get to my car for the 90 minute rise home. Wish I could have found something to photograph!!
Moral: Never give up, something just might turn out after all.

OH,MY, Larry. Hours well spent! Perhaps not what you had in your mind, BUT! Look at what you have been given and given to us! Beautiful light, glorious color, and rare glimpses into the universe from where you stood. And you left knowing that there would be another day, another fantastic shot and that you would be back again. And you left us wanting more! Superb photography,Larry.
