Jim, excellent photos and you have been great capturing the Glades, the river of grass. Your gator photos are all great. I love the way the photos actually is pretty clean just stained by the plants that grow there. The snake path/trail is the first I have seen on UHH and again shows what is really the glades. I will not try to guess the kind of snake that made it but will add that it is of good size and heavy. Thanks for sharing.

Greg
Jim, excellent photos and you have been great capt... (show quote)

Thanks Greg. The swamp is a great place. The variety of critters and plants and people are amazing.

Great gator shots Jim...I know you are enjoying your time with Gregory!!

Thanks Jan. It is a pleasure to be out with Greg. He has shown me so many places and things I would not be able to find on my own.

Thanks Stop. Actually I was standing on a deck next to the pond. He can jump very good because he lost 2ft off his tail.

Excellent series Jim, especially enjoyed the last one interesting shot.

Thanks Sylvia. Most of these were taken at a friends house. When y'all come back here we will take you and Bob out there.

Great gator shots. The slithery tracks makes me a little nervous! Well done series.

Thanks Carol. When I spoted The trail I was both nervous and excited. That"s one of the critters I haven't seen yet.

Thanks GA. Python I was told.

Great shots Jim, like them all, especially because I was there with you. We do have some fun. davids999 should be back soon, we have to take him to see the burrowing owls. Loved the python trail. It's a reticulated python for those interested. They are the longest snakes and among the 3 heaviest in the world. Unfortunately we have over 300,000 of them in the Glades

A lot of people commented about my garter pictures. So I thought I would show some other critters in the swamp. Not just birds.
I do apologies for not being more attentive to the Hog. But life down here has been crazy. Between roaming the swamp with Greg and all the actives in the camp ground and editing all my files I haven't had time to change my mine.

how neat to see and shoot the snake's path, and that gator under water looks downright sneaky...
good job jim!

Thanks MT. It was kinda scary to see that snake path. The gators are pretty passive.
