My first digital was the 1st Generation Canon Rebel, EOS 300D (or DS6041) I bought back in 2003. When it first came out it was touted as the first connsumer-grade digital camera that could be had for under $1000 ($999.00 with kit lens). It has a whopping 6.3 MP sensor and came with a very crappy 18-55mm lens. I think the shooting speed is measured is seconds-per-frame and not frames-per-second LOL. I still have this camera, and even occasionally shoot with it just for old time sake. For just stuff you want to paste to Facebook it's not too bad actually.

Here's a shot from the Mavica. I just finished mowing and found that I missed him with the mower.

Olympus 3030 point/shoot with zoom in year 2000 - $900 (wow!) I bought this after a coworker showed me 8 x 10 prints he made on his inkjet with glossy paper. Mind you, this was only a 3.3 megapixel camera (with a very small sensor no doubt) but took, what seemed at the time, excellent pix! Soon after I sold my Olympus 35mm film equipment (a mistake too early)....digital photography was still in its infancy with many point and shoot consumer models coming out by the day it seemed. A few years later I recall reading an article in one of the photo mags that said when digital cameras reached 16MP (the highest consumer version was only 5MP) it would equal 35mm film in resolution. Well, we are well past that but now we bicker over APS-C vs full frame, IQ, dynamic range, noise! I think the max ISO on the 3300 was only 400 I think. Amazing how far we've come.

My first digital was a HP . I dont remember MP etc. I know when I came out it was a bit under $1000. I bought it used from a friend for $100.00 worked great
till the week that I actually needed it. I managed to drop it on the first day of a 3 week vacation. Lots of little pieces all over the stone floor.

First digital camera was a Sony Mavica CD-300 I purchased around 17 years ago. Still have it, still works. My most recent digital camera purchase is a Canon EOS 5D IV. My most expensive digital camera is my Canon EOS 5D SR.

Mine was a point and shoot Olympus Mu (had a funny symbol) and it was champagne gold in color. I wanted a camera for a trip to St Vincent and the Grenadines, and I chose the Olympus because it came with a remote so I could use it to photograph pictures of myself holding (and proving) the carp I caught when I went on fishing trips by myself. Can't remember the pixel count or much about it, other than it took xd cards and I spent a fortune on a "huge" 64mb one. I was a bit of a late starter to dslrs, but when I bought my first one, a Canon 450d (which I still have), I was became hooked on photography and have been since.
