I'm not a new member, but I haven't post any photos yet. Can someone, kindly instruct me how to post photos? I understand when posting it's always nice to "save original image" or something like that. I am newly retired and while I would like to post some recent digital photos, I have a bunch from 1970-1980 that I would like to share what it was like then, compared to how I've grown within the digital era, i.e., film to early digital (Canon G1 to G5) helping me learn how to effectively learn to use my Canon 60D. All the tricks, nowadays, to back when you were conscious regarding the film, (type, and speed, and camera limitations—I remember in the early 1980's when ISO 1000 film came out, there was a group (must have been Germans—"1000? tausend? impossible..." but I have some nice photos of the London Tower Bridge.) I have a plustek slide/negative scanner (Silverlight) that has worked well with some of these earlier photos that I am anxious to get more ambitious with converting some of my earlier work to digital. Alas, I digress, all I want to know is to how to post photos to the photo gallery...

Linda, you are most kind... My ritual, since my retirement last July, has been to check email, esp., UHH, and only then get up for breakfast and the day... I am looking forward to moving into an arena where I can share my photographs with those who appreciate them like I do. A few years ago, I upgraded to a Canon 60D, being a humble Canon fan for many years. This past year, we took the camera on a road trip to San Diego, spending a number of days in Utah, in the canyons. Coming back home I had seen how more effective the photos could have been, given the daily input of UHH. Again, THANK YOU, for your kind direction.

I hope I got this right... The December (pre-Christmas Poinsettia) show is always amazing. The color was incredible, and I will try to post more example in the next few days.

Linda, something's not working. Perhaps, I'll try tomorrow... Well, I'll give it one more try. The sun is shining, and I know we a little bit east from you, if this doesn't work, the sun (in the west window) will overrule this project...

Except for your black rectangle on the left, looks like you got it! Just remember you have to wait for the photo to fully load (you'll see it in preview) before you hit send.

That's a very cool shot, btw! Looking forward to many more
