Very nice shots. I have been there and it is a beautiful place for our fallen heros that gave all during the war. Very nice shots indeed.
Wonderful photos! I was in Normandy and visited the cemetery and several of the landing spots. Brought tears to my eyes. My Dad was flying bombers then.

Just so you know, nearly every city, town, village celebrates their individual liberation on the anniversary of each day that each little village was liberated. Also, if they happen to have an American in town that day, they honer them.
Have been there! So solemn and peaceful. Not a dry eye!
