Actually, that is a thought nobody mentioned. For the price of a lens, software and what-not, you can pick up a modest 4x5 view camera for this work--the bellows makes it ideal, plus the perspective controls on a nice 4x5 viewing surface. If it has Graflok ("universal") back (be sure it has this), you can attach a digital camera to the back after composing the image, and take the shot. This back also allows the use of roll film adapter, easy to get developed. The camera might even come with a fine lens. Learning to use it is not so hard for basic photography, and the time spent is good basic training.
