Depends on what you are saying, recently i was told that for a given focal length and sensor that the angle of view can vary. Now I can not find any evidence for that at all and even sony said it doesn't.

There is no practical way of me to find proof of this, most lens reviews do not state angle of view. However why is up to me to find proof of what someone else said.

I might as well say there are dragons in kerry, can you find proof otherwise?

Am I to assume you are just too lazy to do the legwork? Or perhaps its more reasonable to assume i'm talking out of my hole.

If you can't back up what you say then it is fantasy it's your obligation to provide supporting evidence. If you can't provide evidence then its likely you are a liar or a fool. Thats a different matter to having apparent evidence disproved later.

i have no idea with regard to sensors versus focal lengths. i make photographs.
in reply to your inability or unwillingness to read in a critical manner and take the time to research what i provided to you, well, that's your issue and not mine.

...yes. In general, attribution equates to credibility. I think in any group such as this posters should by *all* means back up what they claim to be facts. Opinions aside, that is... ;0)

Thank you, at least one person gets my point.

Earlier today I read about a fella in china who wanted to head home to his family in his home region in china for the holidays about 1700 km from where he worked and lived. Anyway he got stopped by the police cycling alongside an express way. Well it turns out he was heading in completely the wrong direction. He couldn't read the signs, so he had been relying on the kindness of strangers to put him in the right direction. Unfortunately he was now 300 km further away from his destination than when he started. it does have a happy ending, the Police officers took sympathy with him and they had a whip round and bought him a train ticket home.

I don't want to be like that chinese fella cycling in the wrong direction, just because some stranger told me something and i was foolish enough to believe him. So yes if your going to tell me something for a fact I'd like to know where thats coming from.
