Nicely done. Regarding different moon shots, around the time of full moon, there is usually one moonrise and one moonset that works out so you have enough light to include the landscape, if you want to try to capture just as moon rises above horizon or just before it sets to west in the morning.

Here is a topic from back in September that talks about the idea:

Thanks

These are lazy shots taken from my window.
I have tons of moon shots iv'e taken over the years from different times of the day and night from different places.
Finally one day I said Why ?

So if something looks interesting now I'll try playing with settings etc.
My attention span is about 45 mins.
Just don't have the patience anymore.

By the way your one of my Favorite posters here.

Iv'e never had as much expertise with the SX50 as you have shown here. Mine are always grainy looking .

Thank you! The sx50 does like light, and my best photos are probably those taken under sunny skies.

I decided to get a refurbished sx60 a couple of months ago. I had read the IQ isn't as good (especially at the longest focal length), but thought I'd try out the improved viewfinder, because when I'd use the sx50 after several outings with my dslr (Canon T3i), I was always frustrated. Haven't decided yet whether was a good decision :)

I understand about the 45-minute attention span

Pretty shots! I love the second one, it looks like the branches are holding up the moon.

I really like all 3 of these pics, however, I like certain clarities of each one better than the others. 1-I like the hazy circle around the moon 2-I like the crispness of the tree branches and 3-I really like the clear view of the moon best in this one! BUT, I am NOT a professional by any means!! Lol! So just take what I say with a grain of salt and don't pay much mind to it! It's just what I like... They are beautiful pics though! ☝🌝🌚🌖
