Your commentary on the shots sure gave me a chuckle, Merry. Very nice shots. I suspect they'll all be repeat customers to your diner! Chucky peanut butter??? Yummmmmm.....

Great shot, Merry. Let's call your photos from top down as 1,2,3,4,5; then I like the #4 the most. Reason: there's balance in it, very clean and sharp, the bird is off center a bit, enough food and details. Keep feeding and shooting, I guess both the birds and we benefit from that nice work. Oh, I would post some of my photos if someone has enough patience to show me how to do it. Thanks.

thank you for looking and for your comments huyenguyen. i like that one too, except for cutting off a little of that little nuthatch's
tail feathers. lol. have you figured out how to post your pictures yet?

I shoot with a canon sx60 bridge camera.
I used the aperture setting and continuous shooting and just try different things.

Homemade peanut butter suet...

2 cups peanut butter
2 cups shortening
4 cups yellow corn meal (not self rising)
4 cups oats
2 cups flour (not self rising)
2/3 cup sugar
Raisens (or not)

Melt the peanut butter and shortening in a big bowl in the microwave. Add the other ingredients and stir it up real good. Put it in a
9×12 pan . Put it in the freezer for 15 or 20 minutes until it is firm enough to cut into blocks
that will fit in the suet feeder. Squirrels like it too so I use a baffle on the bird feeder. When I put some on a stump or branch or someplace other than the feeder I usually stay outside and try to get some shots.
