Yes, it's only 36 hours from NOW, If you had not thought about it, you had better get with it!
What will YOUR photographic resolutions be for the coming year?
Maybe that new lens.
Maybe that bucket trip to Antarctica.
Or maybe just the year you will get off that little green square with the
A in the middle if it! LoL
For me, I think it will be the year I finally make the effort to learn to use Photo Shop...., that's a biggie!!!
What will be your photographic resolutions for the coming 2017 year in photography???

I'm going to retire and get out there more. Already booked to visit Yosemite, Zion, Bryce, Capital Reef, Canyonlands, and Arches.
I think shooting more nudes sounds like a good idea! Or just shooting more...so I can get out of the house. My wife retired this year and is home ALL the time (ha ha)
I'm going to dump all the gear I seldom use, you know the gear I have for that undefined thing coming up that never comes up. You know, that cover shot just waiting for me to capture. You know, the good gear, the high quality body and lenses, the heavy stuff in case a wedding, super bowl once in a lifetime shoot presents itself.
Getting rid of all of it, going light - Olympus Pen F and a couple, OK maybe three or four small MFT lenses and taking it with me everywhere and getting back to shooting for fun, maybe not Ansel Adams quality, but fun doing it. Yep, that's the plan, watch the classified for upcoming Canon gear! Happy New Year everyone! Novots.
I'll try to become a better photographer -- get to know the ins and outs of my camera; be more faithful to looking in on "Ugly" each day; get out to shoot more often (maybe once each week).
Learning my new D500. I've used Nikon before, but this one has a lot more bells and whistles on it. Also learn more about my lenses. I've used them all and I have a use for all three, just more practice. I'm still working, going to try for two more years. I was retired but I hated it. Working has afforded me the option to buy the new camera equipment that will last me for as long as I can shoot. I have some books on digital photography and the D500 specifically that I need to read. I'm thinking of taking a class at the local camera shop. I learn better when something is explained verbally to me rather than reading it. Most of all, I want to get out and take more photos. I think my cat is getting tired of modeling for me!

I'm going to continue working on not just looking but also seeing. Finding what's interesting in the routine.

I'm going to concentrate more on composition and capturing the right moment as opposed to concentrating on the technical side as I have this past year, plus use my wide angles more. The turning point? Today I saw the professional presentation of the pro wedding photographer who photographed my son's wedding, and I was humbled (and reaffirmed my vow never to shoot another wedding). I shot the wedding also (staying out of the pros way), and while most of my shots were technically correct, he captured the emotion so much better, and while I crop really tightly, he tends to shoot wide - much to contemplate and learn.

Try to see things that I never paid any attention to in the past. And learn to control camera shake

777, yes, I wish retirement was in my cards this year but alas it has to wait a few more years. My wife retired last year and now I don't even see her anymore! But as long as dinners on the table and my clothes are clean, that's all I care!
Looks like you've got some great trips planned. I've only been to Yosemite a few times but the others for me will have to wait probably till I retire!!!
Are you doing all that at once, or is each a different trip? Enjoy

Unless I buy some sharper lenses, my resolutions aren't going to change!

I intend to continue to fight the bull on UHH. That's a full time job.
Definitely get out more and take more photos....work on getting closer to becoming a photographer. Right now just a hobbyist who has aspirations of one day becoming a photographer...but most of all...just having more fun with my camera and learn to see what I want to capture not just shoot a picture.

Telling that old fart to be nice is like asking Danny Devito to get taller. It ain't happening.
