You can observe how the box is packed. If you remove everything in the camera box to assure everything in there is as advertised; and you can't get it all back in, as originally packed. You generally have a tamper free box.

I've sold many Nikon and Canon cameras and never have I seen a sealed box.

I just bought a Pentax K-1 from a walk in store, not sealed, no sticky anywhere to show removal of a seal.

I buy Canon and usually from Adorama but the boxes never come sealed. I also recently bought the Tamron 150-600 lens and it was not sealed either. When I buy my Canon inks they are not sealed. But never have had a problem.

All but one of my Pentax cameras and lenses, (Analog days to digital), have been sealed most with a small sticker on the flaps. I suppose they could have been slightly heated and re-stuck on the flap but I trust that they weren't. One was not factory sealed and it was taped shut by an inspector sometime in shipment.

My Sigma 70-200 was also sealed.

The only ones I don't expect to be sealed are used lenses and those known to be formerly used as showroom models. Truth be known, I have not purchased lenses or dslr's for the past five years. What they do presently is beyond me.

A new camera should be in a sealed box. An open box to me is an open box, not a new camera. An open box mandates a lower price and many times it is called refurbed.
B&H is a reputable dealer. If I buy a new camera from them and the camera comes to me in an open box I immediately will contact them requiring an explanation.
I will not accept an open box unless a decent discount is offered.

My Nikon Camera boxes from B&H have never been sealed. Every person before this post has said the same thing. Nikon does not seal their Camera boxes.

I've been buying from B&H for years. I've bought cameras lenses etc and when I've returned items I've never paid a restocking fee.
