I tried searching the company name on UHH and didn't come up with anything, so I thought I would ask UHH members. Has anyone done business with Deals-All-Year on eBay? Their prices for cameras are very good, so the gear is probably Grey Market International Warranty. Yes, I am very familiar with the negatives of Grey Market Imports. I'm mainly interested in the company and their reputation. Are they connected with Beach Camera? Has anyone here purchased from them and what was your experience?

Thanks in advance!

So... That means no color, just low-contrast black and white?

I took a chance and bought a 24-105 L lens from them in 2014. I know it is likely grey market, but so far I've been happy with the lens. They do have a 99.8% positive feedback rating on EBay for what that's worth. If you want to be sure you are buying from an authorized US Canon Dealer, here is the list: http://downloads.canon.com/dealer/canon-ad-10-28.pdf

Thank you for your reply. I was more interested in experiences others had doing business with them. I would never by a New Grey Nikon product but for other brands I'm not so sure. After the warranty is up, it might not matter anyway.

You have been around long enough to remember these crooks from when they were still called "Ryther Camera", same bunch, different name.

For what it's worth, CanonPriceWatch had listed them originally with a warning, but apparently the past couple years they're reputation has improved:

"UPDATE (August 2016): It has been two years since deals-all-year has appeared on eBay and we have re-reviewed their reputation. Based on the strong positive feedback (99.9%) from the last two years, we have reversed our decision and now choose to list this store with the other reputable merchants on our site. We always recommend making grey market purchases through a platform such as eBay, where you can leverage both eBay and PayPal protection on your purchases."

I did buy a lens from them in 2014 and was (still am) happy with it, but don't take that as a blanket endorsement. I know in the past, as Ryther Camera they had an F rating with BBB.

Yes, but the BBB isn't squat. It's a private organization that plays police and makes its money by selling subscriptions to advertising businesses.
It's not all bad, just not a government run agency.
I had one business dealing with them last year when I had a customer trying to scam me for a services performed. Fortunately I had a paper-trail a mile long and all the customer had was their made up story and treats at slander.
Grey market is not all bad either. I've had a few grey market items as well!
But don't know anything about DAY.

These items are made where US items are made.
Warranty & service is waved. Does not mean you cannot get them serviced by others.

The fact that the BBB is not a government run agency is a GOOD thing!
