Doubt the little red and yellow ones are the same size?
Print it out and measure them.
While you're at it measure both ends of the green one.
If you use a nikon 17-35/2.8, 12-24 DX or 28/2.8 micro you may have already noticed this effect.
A change in distance to subject but no change in perspective.......

i'm disappointed, i thought you all would find it amusing.
Here is a shot with the same distance between legs which has a different perspective.
The blocks are no longer the same size.

Personally, I liked it, but then I like Escher.

Unlikely. We've just had an earthquake around 6.5. They've just had a nice foot massage and really need to lie down and relax right now!

Surely you know that!

as i've gotten older i've come to realise i know the absolute truth about this or that
only because i don't know the exceptions and the more sure i am of the answer, the more likely
there will be an exception.

Just a note:
Those two shots were not made with one of those fancy tilt/shift/swing lenses and
there were no perspective shifting games played in PP.

I can't believe it; 300 some views and not 1 person responded to the concept of
changing the camera to subject distance without altering perspective.
People have become so accustomed to the appearance of wide angle closeups that
they no longer even care that most of the images are just gross distortions of reality.
