You provided a lot of information. Thank you. I am going to keep the 7D Mark II. Now I just have to get familiar with it. I was going to keep my 7D Mark I but am thinking of selling it but have not made up my mind yet. Would appreciate what others think about this.
My experience with keeping yesterday's camera is it never gets used ... turn it into money and something that you actively use.

If you feel you need a backup camera or a 2nd to shoot with a 2nd lens, it's a good idea. You might consider selling and using the money to purchase another lens. Depends on the venues you shoot.

Here's the link to the AF guide for the 7D MII. I was not able to find it when I sent the other links.

Thanks; I am leaning towards selling the camera. I was only thinking of keeping it to save time and hassle in changing lenses if I need to.

I am a photography instructor that loves the Canon 7D markII over the 7D. It has faster focus, better ISO,and will shoot at 10 frames per second! I use it for sports in daylight, wildlife, and any that needs extra reach. Both the 7D and the 7D markII have a resolution factor of 1.6! My 500mm will turn into an 800 mm lens. I can capture cannon fire blasts, wildlife in Zoos and Yellowstone, and even the Super moon. Learn it's features and you'll love it!

The link doesn't work for me either. But, you just need to visit the Canon USA site yourself and navigate the Products / Cameras and Camcorders / 7D II. The document is available for download from Canon for this product under section Brochures. The link provided was specific to the OP's internet session and is not valid for 'share' to another session. When the PDF launches on your computer, then save a copy of the file (PDF) to your harddrive.

Thanks for your comments. I just set up the 7D Mark II and tried a few test shots. It seems quieter than the 7D. I am glad I got this camera. Fantastic photos you took. I love the lion and the shot of the bears is a terrific catch. Nicely done.
