I'm not positive, but I think the 11-16 is a DX lens for crop sensors. I have a 16-28 FX Tokina which works well with my D610. But the key question is, what camera mount? That I can't help you with.

Looking at the photo will tell you!

Hmm I have the same lens in the canon mount. This one is actually a DX which means it is full frame. Yes, I've used this one on my 1DX full frame and it's a great lens. Auto focus but no jiggle comp, fast 2.8 aperatures, you should have tried that lens more, just saying..

Tokina marks lenses for Full Frame as FX, DX is for APS-C

No DX is the smaller sensor or what is called on the hogg as a crop sensor. Full frame is FX.

confused here. realize it's an older post, but unsure if still available. Will this lens auto focus on a 5100? Still available? Rock-bottom price. Interested, if you still have.

I believe Tokina had two versions, the first one had no motor and the later version was a Pro DX II with an internal focus motor, which you need. Tons of them available and a very sharp lens.

Suggest you edit subject line if you still can and indicate in the subject what lens it is.
